Dear newsrooms: Have more conversations about practicing journalism to inform, not inflame

One of my recent LinkedIn posts went a bit viral. It asked national media organizations to reevaluate how they cover this administration’s press conferences in light of how the president seemed to blame diversity, equity and inclusion for the tragic plane and helicopter accident in Washington, D.C.
